Summary/Objective:


The Social Media Moderator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through all of our social media channels to all Lippert customers while also playing a role in executing our social media strategy in a manner that promotes each company’s brand, products, and services.


Essential Functions:

  • Identify and escalate issues appropriately to ensure rapid response to emerging trends and opportunities 
  • Engage directly with guests who contact us for a variety of topics ranging from helping them shop for their components, taking a compliment, or even problem-solving when something doesn’t go as planned.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and thoughtful responses to our users’ questions and requests on social media
  • Be understanding, utilize active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and teammates.
  • Research and problem-solve to determine the right solutions for customers and think proactively.


Supervisory Responsibility


This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers. Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. Communicates with management, team members, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and take instructions. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails. Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules. Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is occasionally required.


Travel


25% travel is expected for this position.


Required Education And Experience


  • Prior social media experience
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Education And Experience


  • Associates Degree in Marketing


Additional Eligibility Qualifications


  • Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry, as well as for rapid navigation through systems to help support our guests.
  • Ability to adapt to change in accordance with the business needs of the company
  • Operate with ownership, be a self-starter, and have a strong attention to detail.
