Social Media Marketing Intern

Beauty brand in Carson, California is seeking a social media enthusiast with a strong and keen knowledge of social media platforms, marketing and publicity strategies. They will assist and support the marketing team with tasks needed to help the brand succeed and maintain a strong online presence.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship and only for college credit.

Social Media Marketing Intern

What You’ll Do:

• Create filler content for Instagram (ex. Memes, quotes, artist reposts).
• Connect with ambassadors and lash artists to showcase their content and build relationship.
• Assist with marketing, research and campaigns and execute approved ideas.
• Record and create video content during photoshoots and events.
• Create and manage Pinterest and Linkedin posts, newsletters, website development.
• Create content for Instagram stories (This or That, engaging stories, giveaways).
• Schedule approved content on Later.
• Assist with influencer outreach & researching candidates.
• Social media engagement.
• Create TikTok videos in accordance with viral trends and brand knowledge.
• Pitch ideas for product photoshoots& assist in photoshoots.

Requirements:

• Experience with writing, copyediting and content creation.
• Knowledge of the beauty industry is preferred but not required.
• NOT A REMOTE INTERNSHIP
• Must be available at least 2 days during the week (Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm)
• Must be a junior or senior.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Must be eligible for school credit and able to provide course credit documentation upon request.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Canva is preferred not required.
