We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager for our office in Irvine, CA. This position will be hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining unique social media strategies that represent the care, services, activity and culture of MBK Senior Living. Duties will include staying up to date on social media trends, monitoring all social media profiles to determine customer engagement and developing social media campaign ideas to promote MBK Senior Living community events, and support recruitment efforts.

Essential Duties:

  • Track social media campaigns’ key performance metrics to maximize results and report progress to management.
  • Manage Facebook Business Manager and troubleshoot issues related to transfer of page ownership.
  • Create comprehensive social media plans to boost brand image, increase customer engagement and improve conversions.
  • Create, curate, post and manage compelling social media content, including text, audio, video and multimedia formats. This may require travel.
  • Design, implement and manage social ad campaigns (including budgets) integrated into the company’s strategic marketing plans.
  • Engage users with prompt responses, organize competitions, ask questions and cultivate relationships.
  • Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective.
  • All responsibilities will be in conjunction with the greater company and community’s marketing strategies.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Plan, design, implement and monitor social media marketing campaigns to promote the company’s brand.
  • Analyze engagement data, identify trends in customer interactions, and plan digital social campaigns to build our online community.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts.
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of creating social media strategies.
  • Exceptional time management skills and interpersonal relations.

Requirements:

  • Technical, expert knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Professional, LinkedIn Admin and troubleshooting issues related to transfer of page ownership across the various platforms we utilize.
  • A general understanding of HTML coding as it relates to integrations between platforms (website, social media profiles, and CRMs).
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in social media, marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of analytics software, and content management systems such as Canva, Hubspot, Hootsuite, CRMs, and other relevant tech platforms.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a social media manager or a similar role as an expert in the social media branch of marketing.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage ad budgets.
  • Prior experience with copywriting for social media marketing.
