Role Overview:

The Social Media Content Manager works in close collaboration with the CEO to identify the key brand needs and how best to support revenue generation and retention. As a storyteller and data-driven thinker, you will create compelling and conversion-oriented content for each stage of the customer lifecycle.

This role is at the forefront of the company and is a key component in the company's growth by strategizing and implementing social marketing content that reaches new audiences, attracts followers, and ultimately converts them into qualified leads & sales. This team leader will be directly responsible for content creation and broadcasting in both social media and podcast promotion

  • Time Commitment: Full-time position, 40 hours/weekThis is a remote role with a flexible schedule that meets your needs – your schedule can vary between 7:30am – 6pm est. That said, during launches, we’re in high gear and things get busy so it’s helpful that our team is flexible and available as needed.
  • Status: You must be available to be employed by our company and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel. Our team travels several times a year, so you must be open and willing to travel for company events and retreats as needed.
  • Compensation: $50-60k per year

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working autonomously in a high-growth, small business environment.
  • A successful track record with social media growth and management Podcast experience and paid ad experience is a plus!
  • Knowledge of how to run current social media platforms – TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Ability to come up with creative, original copy for headlines and captions
  • 1+ years’ relevant professional marketing experience with significant B2B and B2C marketing experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, where resourcefulness and initiative are highly rewarded.

Skills Required:

  • An open mind to feedback and guidance.
  • Strong ideation, project management, image/ video editing, and copywriting skills with a deep understanding of brand voice, online performance, and a knack for uncovering unique story angles, hooks, and headlines.
  • Strong creative judgment and audience focus to allow you to see the big picture while balancing a robust content strategy against optimization for performance.
  • Active listening skills, without the pride of ownership, will suit you well.
  • Deep knowledge of social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Analytical mindset with a numerical aptitude and an ability to draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Natural leader with experience managing freelance and full-time creative professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns.
  • Proven track record of time management and deadline accountability, with experience juggling multiple short- and long-term deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of SEO methods to increase site traffic is a plus.

Job Responsibilities + Tasks

  • Oversee virtual assistants for video and image creation, posting of content, and proper execution of processes
  • Post on social channels multiple times a day to gain traction to spread brand awareness and drive demand for programs and products
  • Develop, optimize, and update social media strategy based on current trends and research while continuously looking for new ways to improve social media presence
  • Engagement with followers/ viewers in DMs, comments, and on scheduled live videos
  • Directly managing the podcast editor. Work with the Director of Growth on generating overall media marketing plans and media creation
  • Become an expert in the customer avatar and the voice for the audience, knowing what they want to see, their desires, and pain points, and crafting content to speak to these
  • Strategize and execute content creation that will attract highly qualified followers and turn them into leads and eventually sales.
  • Promote podcasts on social media to gain new listeners
  • Understands how social media builds overall company growth
  • Repurposing content to all social media channels in the social media channel’s “native” language (ie. taking a podcast and turning it into multiple Instagram reels/ carousels)
  • Advertising creative and copy to attract cold leads and turn them into a warm audience quickly
  • Work with copywriting team in ad creation and curating monthly podcast newsletter
  • Responsible for weekly podcast episodes going out
  • Run podcast ads to the latest episode weekly to drive more downloads and reach new audiences

Data & Analytics:

  • Pulling and tracking data for all weekly OKRs + launch or other program-specific data for your role or as assigned to you.This is completed with zero errors.
  • Not only are you responsible for reporting on them, but you are responsible for using the data to strategize and develop innovative ways to capitalize on the data.

Launch Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in all launch-specific roles. These roles will be outlined prior to the start of the program. And these may/will vary depending on the launch.

General Responsibilities:

  • Participate in team Zoom meetings and daily Slack team communications.Weekly Huddle: Mondays at 11:30 am est

Department Meetings: Mondays at 1 pm cst
15-minute check-in with Integrator: Time & Date TBD
15-minute check-in with Manager: Time & Date TBD

  • Data and analytical tracking throughout the business
