Opportunity: The Joel Gott Wines Marketing Team is seeking a creative and passionate content creator to join our team and help grow one of the top brands in the wine industry on social media.


Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with winemaking staff to capture content for use across social
  • Create and manage an established organic social media calendar in collaboration with agency partner
    • Participate in regular content planning and strategy meetings with agency partner and brand stakeholders
    • Provide calendar for review to agency and brand stakeholder partners in a timely manner
  • Travel to various sites to capture content as directed by Supervisor (winery, vineyard, etc.)
  • Experience with wine brands and understanding of three tiered system preferred but not required
  • Create various forms of social media content, such as images, reels, stories, videos & copy suitable for the various social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. Includes capturing content, editing content and providing copy to be ready for posting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and agency partner to ensure that all content is relevant and helps maximize engagement, reach and sales
  • Provide calendar for review to agency and brand stakeholder partners in a timely manner
  • Executes content project requests as directed by Supervisor or Digital Agency
  • Participate in regular content planning and strategy meetings with agency partner and brand stakeholders
  • Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags and engagement strategy
  • Ensure every piece of content created aligns with the brand voice and style

Qualifications:

  • At least 21+ years of age
  • Adaptability and flexibility with a willingness to embrace change and to adopt strategies and directional changes on the fly.
  • Experience with content creation, both photography and video and familiarity with editing softwares
  • Education: College Senior or 1+ years in a social media role preferred. Wine experience a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., or a 9L case of wine.
  • Detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Ability to manage priorities from multiple stakeholders with a focus on the delivery of on-time results.
  • Have the ability to drive and have your own vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team
  • Experience: Digitally native, familiar with the social media ecosystem.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site required for capturing content.
  • Frequent deadline pressures.
  • Numerous projects from various stakeholders in progress at any given time.
  • Comply with company safety regulations.

Salary Range: $62,400.00 - $84,200.00

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
