Job Description

Adecco Creative & Marketing is recruiting a Social Media Content Creator for a national retailer. The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for partnering with the team on the day-to-day management of the Company’s organic social media accounts, including but not limited to, content and campaign planning and development, community management, and monitoring content and campaign performance and community sentiment. The position maintains channel expertise across social platforms, both active and emerging, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Threads, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.


This is a hybrid temp opportunity located in Columbus, OH. The rate for the role is between $30-$35hr Please only local candidates apply.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads and provides direction to creative partners on tailored content creation across all social media platforms to optimize engagement, impressions, traffic, and reach.
  • Plan, create, optimize, and report on organic social media content across all active social media channels.
  • Measures, analyzes and reports qualitatively and quantitively to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization to enhance the customers’ experience as well as the overall organic social media plan. Builds best practices and establishes benchmarks.
  • Serves as a key contact for existing and potential vendors, agencies, and social network partners.
  • Monitors trends across all social media channels (paid and organic) and appropriately applies that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Plays an active role in Influencer Marketing Program, including, participating in strategy development, influencer selection and content review; collaborating with the team and agency partners; and proactively identifying and driving opportunities to grow and expand our Influencer Relations work.
  • Creates, maintains, and publishes an organic social media calendar for all active brand channels, assuring consistency across social channels and with all external marketing channels.
  • Identifies opportunities to amplify influencer and user-generated content across external marketing channels, including site, paid advertising, email, and more.
  • Evaluates new tools and third-party applications and software that can provide increased reporting, integration, and functionality in the social space.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong attention to detail required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of meeting deadlines and follow-up required.
  • Minimum two years of related experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization required at an agency or retail environment preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Threads, LinkedIn & Pinterest) required.
  • Strong analytical and exceptional organizational skills required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s suite of products, including PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Design, Communication or a related field required.
  • Knowledge of social media tracking, performance, and scheduling tools and trends across social platforms required.
