Small Equipment Yard Attendant

• Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm - NO Weekends!
• Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, overtime over 40 hours

The Small Equipment Yard Attendant is responsible for assisting customers with loading and unloading new, used and rental equipment. The attendant is also responsible for maintaining an orderly and clean yard. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon excellent customer service skills, the ability to operate a wide variety of construction equipment and the ability to respond quickly to requests for assistance.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate various types of equipment and move equipment and supplies around the yard as directed
• Assist customers with loading and unloading of equipment
• Eager to participate in required training
• Manually move supplies and parts into inventory
• Provide excellent customer service
• Respond quickly to a variety of requests in assisting other associates
• Maintain company safety standards and yard organization and cleanliness

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outside in hot, cold and/or inclement weather
• Able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• A minimum of two year's experience working in customer service
• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug test
• Experience operating a Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
