Job Description
Pontchartrain Partners, LLC is looking for motivated Skilled Construction Laborer to join our coastal protection team! The right person will need to assist with site cleanup, fueling/ greasing equipment, and assisting pile driving crew with other task. They will also assist in setting the pre-cast concrete bridge panel.

  • Per diem for travel
  • Hourly rate between $13 - $18 per hour.
We are looking for individuals with a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card who are passionate about delivering exceptional service.
This is not a drop and hook position, drivers unload material.
Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with unloading products and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to load your truck for the next day, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Take pride in your work as you actively participate in the unloading process, ensuring materials are properly handled and organized.
  • Utilize forklifts and bar code RF scanners to facilitate smooth operations and accurate inventory management.
  • Safely and efficiently make multiple deliveries within a 150-mile radius of the Lenexa, KS branch ensuring timely and accurate distribution of goods.
Qualifications
  • Previous truck driving experience or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent loading and unloading, walking approximately 10,000 steps daily (around 5 miles) on concrete floors.
  • Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and a current DOT medical card are essential.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
  • Experience using a forklift and RF Scanner.
