Since its founding in 1991, ICAN has remained dedicated to its mission to provide free, comprehensive programs that transform the social, emotional and educational well being of youth. We do this by providing safe, enriching programs for our children and their families, teaching youth the life skills they need now to lay the foundation for a brighter future via programs enriched with STEAM, literacy, sports and more.

The Role


Your Contribution To The Organization Is To Ensure a Safe, Organized Learning Environment For Youth By Successfully Ensuring The Assigned Program Curriculum And Daily Program Activities Are Implemented Reporting To The Program Area Manager, You Will Do This By


As Program Site Supervisor, you will manage the daily functions of the site program by developing a team of youth program leaders that execute program activities and implement program curriculum. You will lead recruiting efforts for program enrollment; track program attendance, oversee the budget of the site and manage any other assigned job responsibilities.


  • ICAN Community Partner Ambassador (15%). Establish and nurture relationships with school staff, parents and community organizations to foster collaboration and support to achieve shared initiatives; Manage and develop working relationships with volunteers; Maintain organized educational learning environment for youth members; Serve as an ambassador and role model upholding ICAN’s guidelines and rules; Performs all duties and responsibilities with discipline and accountability.
  • Program Management & Sustainability (35%). Ensure the achievement of program registration, enrollment, and attendance goals, as well as the effective implementation of curriculum for youth program team member; Executes entire youth member registration process; Enter and maintain youth and family member data into the youth member tracking database; Maintain a daily site schedule and ensures adequate daily staff coverage; Ensure all facilitated programs and activities are culturally competent and age appropriate; Maintain the ability to facilitate research based programming in the absence of program staff; Provide ongoing classroom management/ discipline/ program facilitation training with continuous feedback and motivation to perform at their best; Verify and review the proper documentation of disciplinary actions, incident reports, etc are in the youth member tracking system; Consistently deliver behavioral support and consequences as identified in the behavior management plan; Administer feedback solutions and evaluation instruments with additional tools as scheduled; Collect, track and monitor youth member progress toward program outcomes; Administer pre/post testing and reporting to the Program Area Manager and Operations Manager; Set an annual events and activities calendar in conjunction with the Senior Youth Program Leader; Collaborate with other Site Supervisors to achieve common goals for quality program facilitation; Ensure the site has adequate supplies and equipment; Recommend and manage site budget; Approves all site PR’s and expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
  • Professional Development & Leadership (50%). Aligns daily practices with organization’s mission, vision, and values; Lead, support and guide your team; Evaluate each member of your team and document employee punctuality, performance on goals, professionalism, disciplinary issues, adherence to company policies in the digital employee file; Administer, execute, and document quarterly and annual performance reviews, training and development plans to help employees succeed in their respective line of work; Plan training workshops for staff in collaborating with HR; Transfer information from upper management to employees and communicate their teams’ performance or needs to Program Area Manager; Interview and select new team members for the site in partnership with HR; Communicate role expectations for new team members; Build and execute an onboarding plan for new team members; Prepare weekly work schedules for your team member; Review timecards; Approve or disapprove time off requests; Maintain strong communication with other Site Supervisors; Teach, mentor and coach Senior Youth Program Leader to create effective community relationships.

  • Dependable vehicle with proof of current AZ registration and valid insurance
