About Our Client
Our client is a general contractor located in Chicago, IL. They have a diverse portfolio of projects and are looking to continue their growth in the coming years. They strive on their close-knit culture and the clear path for success. They are looking for a superintendent to help lead a crew on their new and upcoming projects.

Provide daily, on-site, project management and be responsible for all aspects of the project.

  • Determine needed site resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to
  • Assist in ordering materials and supplies.
  • Schedule deliveries on-site.
  • Strive for no-defect, no schedule delay construction.
  • Create the Project Close Out binder.
  • Communicate quality and performance standards to all trade contractors and vendors.
  • Award all trade contracts and allocate their responsibilities.
  • Supervise the work of each project on-site and provide guidance as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards on the job site.
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule all work on-site to ensure deadlines will be met.
  • Negotiate all trade and vendor pricing per project to reach profitable agreements.
  • Communicate with the client daily about the project and be prepared to answer their questions.
  • Provide a daily client update including project progress report and photographs; keep a daily log of what took place on-site for each project.

The Successful Applicant
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, FastTrack, as well as other software platforms
  • 6+ years of experience
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ground up experience required
  • OSHA certified required
  • Experience in light industrial, multistory storage facility, and precast experience required
