Site Reliability Engineer Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and monitor real time trading systems

• Monitor open and close of markets as it relates to the system

• Reduce the number of trading hiccups

• Monitor and escalate real time system alerts

• Handle any triage for the trade system

• Diagnose and resolve systems issues

• Provide updates to the options desk team

• Coordinator resolution calls with Vendors and Traders

• Escalate production issues

• Follow and solve for regulatory testing for trading environment

• Deliver and maintain high quality information

• Shell scripting automation

Requirements:

• 4+ years of IT experience needed

• Experience working in a Linux environment

• Good knowledge of Unix

• Good understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking applications

• Basic understanding of network routing and troubleshooting

• Basic experience in writing SQL queries

• Basic Bash, Python or other scripting languages

• All candidates should demonstrate a clear ability to collaborate with teammates

• Good verbal communicative skills

• Inquisitive personality

• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
