The Shuttle Driver is responsible for driving the company provided 12-person passenger shuttle van or mini-van as directed by the Manager, Facilities or Site Leadership. The Shuttle Driver is also responsible for providing a safe, timely, and respectful ride to employees and guests from the company identified offsite parking garage and authorized hotels to the Integra Boston site and back, in a company provided vehicle. Additional local hotel pickups and deliveries as needed. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who can primarily work 2nd shift (approx. 1pm – 9:30pm), with flexibility to cover additional hours as needed. Our site is currently running on a Monday-Friday schedule; however, this may change by the end of the year and the Shuttle Driver may be required to work on the weekend.
Primary responsibilities are to:
  • Fuel the company vehicle as needed.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance warning alerts, or alerts immediately.
  • Communicate to vehicle passengers in a kind, courteous, professional, and service-oriented manner at all times.
  • Report any interior defects immediately (recommend detailing services as needed).
  • Drive safely in inclement weather such as heavy rain and snow storms

  • Keep track of oil changes and inform the Facility Manager as oil change requirements are coming near (2-3 weeks before needed).
  • Communicate to vehicle passengers in a kind, courteous, professional, and service-oriented manner at all times.
  • Drive the company provided shuttle van or minivan to pick up and drop off employees and authorized guests to and from our established parking garage, approved hotels, and other destinations as requested by the Manager, Facilities.
  • Perform vehicle safety checks at the start of each shift.
  • Report any interior defects immediately (recommend detailing services as needed).
  • Keep track of oil changes and inform the Facility Manager as oil change requirements are coming near (2-3 weeks before needed).
Qualifications:
  • Cannot have any driving violations in the past 7 consecutive years.
  • Past experience as shuttle driver, CDL driver, or bus driver is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver license at all times of employment.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Operation of a 12-person passenger shuttle van, or mini-van. Ability to utilize a mobile phone with Bluetooth, a computer to access work emails and company IT systems when not driving, as well as other general office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time, and to assist passengers on and off the shuttle van safely as needed. Must be able to drive safely in inclement weather, such as heavy rain, and snowstorms.

ADVERSE WORKING CONDITIONS
The site will be operating on a 2 shift, seven day a week schedule, employee site access from the off-site garage will be operational during inclement weather.
