Showroom Usher - Steady Extra
Reporting to the Showroom Supervisor, the Usher will be required to:
- Be aware of and enforce appropriate house rules.
- Maintain a good understanding of evacuation procedures and be able to assist guests in an emergency evacuation situation.
- Be knowledgeable of theater layout and show times.
- Remain at assigned post throughout the show/event unless taking an assigned break.
- Monitor door and guest entry and exit.
- Handle guest complaints and escalate as needed.
- Watch stations throughout the show to monitor guest behavior including taking pictures, recording or disrupting those around them.
- Welcome guests and direct them to their seating location.
- Check and scan tickets.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor each seating section to ensure our guests have an excellent experience.
- Greet and engage with guests before, during and after the show.
- Visually sweep the theater at the end of the shows for lost and found items.
Qualifications
Job Experience / Education:
- Minimum of one year of customer service-related experience preferred.
- Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years or older.
- Minimum of one year of showroom theater experience preferred.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must have a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter and a hard worker.
- Must have good conflict resolution skills.
- Must be able to function in a stressful environment.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
