Shop Manager Jobs

We are looking for a passionate leader for our Charlestonshop! Our ideal candidate is energetic, obsessed with delivering an over the top client experience, reliable and loves the beauty industry.

As a shop manager, you will be responsible for running the daily operations, including managing the employees and customer service relations.This position is also responsible for creating and implementing new marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

STAFF MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

• Provide effective and actionable feedback to nail technicians and front desk staff
• Manage all front desk staff, assistant managers and their schedules to ensure the shop is running with proper staff at all times
• Be able to provide effective training to other front desk staff
• Report staff performance and feedback to regional manager
• Provide exceptional and consistent hospitality to all guests and employees
• Build strong relationships with the customers and resolve complaints
• Master the appointment scheduling system
• Understand the booking preferences and anticipate client’s needs
• Lead by example through a happy & positive attitude and tone with co-workers and customers

RETAIL AND INVENTORY

• Full knowledge on all product lines carried in the salon to share and educate the clients
• Track and manage all service supply inventory and ordering
• Track and manage all retail inventory

MARKETING AND SALES

• Help build new processes and systems for VL daily operations and marketing strategies
• Act as a community partner with neighboring businesses and influencers
• Create new marketing campaigns for holidays or special events
• Attend monthly financial meetings with regional manager to review and analyze sales numbers, goals and budgets

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Proven experience as a store manager
