Shop Helper Jobs

This will include a wide range of diverse activities, so flexibility is key. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull inventory for upcoming jobs
• Requires the verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements and participate in teams.
• Unload raw material and freight loads, when needed
• May be asked to perform other duties as needed Qualifications Qualifications Education
• Warehouse and part organization
• Some level of computer literacy is preferred Other Skills
• 2 years of manufacturing and experience preferred
• Assist with shop clean up
• Build wooden crates and skids, palletizing equipment for shipment
• Assist shipping with packaging
• Perform cycle counts
• Forklift experience preferred
• Light assembly and painting of parts
• Assist with manufacturing documentation
• Load equipment for shipment, when needed
• Demonstrate ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Use various hand tools Skills and Abilities PC Skills
• Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties. Travel Requirements This position requires some local travel for errands.
• Pick up parts at various suppliers in local area as needed
• High school diploma or GED Specialized Knowledge and Experience
