Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions Inc., a Taylor company, is seeking a 1st shift Shipping Clerk to assist in all shipping functions in our Monroe, NC facility! This includes, but is not limited to, quality control, checking in orders, boxing, labeling, and moving skids/parcels, all while maintaining excellent quality and production standards. You must be highly motivated with a great work ethic and be able to work well individually and in a team setting. You must also be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Shift Available
  • First shift; Monday – Friday
Your Responsibilities:
  • Package orders according to shipping standards
  • Palletize ship-ready boxes and move pallets into shipping area
  • Ship orders according to order ticket and shipping system specifications
  • Scan barcodes, enter shipping information, and print label and shipping related paperwork
  • Operate multiple different shipping software systems
  • Receive ship-ready orders from production
  • Handle paperwork exchange and hand over process of shipments to different courier services
You Must Have:
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA); all employees must undergo a federal background check which requires U.S. citizenship
  • Willingness to be cross-trained on other equipment
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Basic computer skills
We Would Also Prefer:
  • Experience in pick/packing
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx software
