We are currently hiring a Shipping / Stockroom Clerk – ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE!


  • Available schedules are 7:00am to 5:30pm (Sunday – Wednesday), 6am-2:30pm (Monday – Friday), 2:00pm to 10:30pm (Monday – Friday) and 10:00pm to 6:30am (Monday – Friday)

What You’ll Do


  • Sort the trays/sleeves for the appropriate row by bin location
  • Scan the trays to properly decrement inventory
  • Print billing invoices and distribute them by tray number
  • Wand trays as they come in from Final Inspection
  • Assist in restocking and cycle counting
  • Wrap glasses and/or lenses in foam
  • Forward packages via USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, in house couriers, etc.
  • Distribute wrapped jobs into the appropriate shipping bins
  • Place appropriate address label and bar code label on box
  • Keep packing machine running and loaded with labels and envelopes
  • Place empty trays on assigned cart to be taken back out to Receiving


Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to understand basic job work tickets
  • The ability to do simple/basic math
  • Able to read and write English language well
  • Must be able to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed
  • Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office)


Physical Requirements


  • The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
