Shift Supervisor needed for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that specializes in machining precision metals!

Shift Supervisor Details


  • Responsible for production, quality, scrap, re-work, safety and housekeeping.
  • $ 52,000.00 / annually
  • Monitor work in process to assure efficiency in the production process.
  • Reports directly to the Production Manager.
  • Complete layered audits two times per week.
  • Salaried ( Friday through Sunday from 05:00am to 05:00pm )
  • Supervises, trains, establishes work assignments, reviews and disciplines employees within all departments on the designated shift.
  • Responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting the performance of production areas.
  • Direct Hire position
  • Responsible for communicating customer quality issues to operators.
  • Work is guided by established company policy and quality requirements of both the Quality Management System and customer expectations.
  • Follow up on hold-ups and rejections daily. Assist in determining the cause and implementation of the corrective action.
  • Perform problem-solving activities and complete corrective action reports as necessary.
  • Weekend work required
  • Responsible for Health and Safety of employees.
  • Track the production flow through the operator and set up personnel.


Shift Supervisor Qualifications


  • General educational background with both written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have knowledge and experience in production machines, skilled trades, machine repair, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
