Service Technician Jobs

Long standing family water well pump business seeking a self motivated individual to join our team as a service technician!

This position requires mechanical aptitude, a professional attitude and an ability to work well with the public. The Service Technician will have to be able to solve customer issues proactively, educate users about the correct use and upkeep of their well, and report findings back to management. Previous experience in the industry is helpful but not required, will train the right applicant. Applicants must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to handle physical workload in all weather conditions, and have a clean driving with the ability to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities:

• Overtime work, with little notice, is common during the summer months and technicians are on call weekends on a rotational basis for emergencies.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Repair, install, and adjust well water distribution systems
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Educating users about the correct use and upkeep of their well
• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
• Handling customer relations in a professional and friendly manner
• Perform routine preventative maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Overtime
• On call
• 10 hour shift
• Weekend availability
