Job Description
:
QED Hospitality is a restaurant operations management group, focused on running Food & Beverage operations in boutique hotels and exclusive sites nationally.
We bring our operational acumen to the table, developing and managing restaurants tailored to the hotel, the region and the demands of the market. These are not cookie cutter concepts, but true restaurants born of the region and based on our history.
As a server, you are expected to treat each guest as if they are being welcomed into your own home. To provide the best possible guest experience, you must be friendly and attentive, possess a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all restaurant menus, and have excellent communication skills. It is essential that you are able to adjust to the needs of each guest, and be flexible and willing to go the extra mile. Additionally, you will maintain open communication with the kitchen and management staff, keep the restaurant and workstations clean and organized, and always help where help is needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Required: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid alcohol serving permit (specific permit will vary by state). Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position (standing/walking for up to 8 hours, ability to lift up to 50 lbs). Must be able to work as part of a team, and get along well with guests and coworkers. Must be able to uphold company standards relating to appearance and dress.
Preferred: High school graduate or GED. Previous serving experience a plus.
