The Mission
We are looking for a passionate and well-versed Senior UX/UI Designer to shape the experience for the Neuroglee digital solutions portfolio. You will have a deep understanding of our customers and patient populations and lead the experience design working closely with product, design, clinical, and science teams.
Responsibilities
The Senior UX/UI Designer will play a crucial role in designing compelling product experiences advocating for the user needs and translating them into best-in-class designs while balancing them with the business need for Neuroglee’s digital medicine and therapeutic platform.
- Identify user-focused design solutions that account for detailed business logic, multiple applications configurations, and data edge cases
- Collaborate with product and design team to envision an application architecture that supports task-focused data display for multiple personas and multi-step workflows
- Establish a scalable design system to support multiple product configurations, personas, and form factors ensuring consistent brand and visual standards across the portfolio
- Give and receive design critique to help consistently push the solution forward, incorporating user feedback efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment
- Work with engineers, product owners, and the design team to evaluate design options and refine scope through the design process
- Effectively communicate concepts through written documentation, wireframes, storyboards, flow diagrams, and low-to-high fidelity mockups
- Live and promote UX design best practices in an agile software development organization while striving for both visionary big picture design concepts as well as implementation level guidance.
Education & Professional Experience
- 7+ years of prior experience in UX/UI design for healthcare solutions
- Bachelors or master’s degree in design related field
- Portfolio of published work required
- Excellent verbal and written communication in the English language
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills
- Portfolio that highlights design thinking and solutions for healthcare web-based applications, mobile and table applications, and consumer facing websites
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience designing for patients with Neurological conditions, accessibility needs, or older populations
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Adobe, Figma, Sketch and similar tools is a must; basic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills are a plus
