Senior Trade Operations Analyst- Financial Services- Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Senior Trade Operations Analyst position with an industry leading financial service firm located in Boston, MA. This position will report to the Finance Manager and will perform duties to support client investment management operations. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with account or custody platforms within financial services.

This is a 6+ month contract that will pay $45-50/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of process improvements
• Resolve complex issues acting with a sense of urgency
• Setup and maintain databases and client files, process and confirm trades, research errors, failures, and inquiries
• Subject matter expert for process
• Accountable for quality accuracy and timeliness of results
• Develop and maintain procedures
• Compose recommendations to update departmental procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of overall process operating model
• Resolve discrepancies and act on matters and inquiries from clients and other departments
• Carry out core, complex, and custom processing activities
• Assists with deployment of operational changes

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently to resolve complex issues
• Previous experience with account or custody platforms
• Strong MS Excel experience: formulas, pivot tables
• 4+ years of Financial Services experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
