At Anaplan, we are looking for a self-motivated SENIOR TECHNOLOGY PORTFOLIO PROGRAM MANAGER to join our growing team based flexibly in Minneapolis, to contribute as a member of the Global Engineering Program Management Group located in San Francisco, Minneapolis, London, York, and Tel Aviv. As an experienced Agilist and program guru, you will work closely with partners across the Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and wider Business organizations to plan the development and delivery of strategic business outcomes.

Position Overview
The Program Management team's primary function is to guide active planning, prioritization, staffing, and governance of the technology roadmap portfolio for Anaplan. The successful Portfolio Manager candidate will be responsible for aligning with the CTO’s direct Level 2 (L2) leadership reports on priorities, efforts, and planning for their portfolio of programs, and working with program management and engineering enablement teams to ensure portfolio projects are set up, staffed, funded and supervised throughout execution. Management of Digital Core and Enterprise Architecture & Strategy portfolios will be the focus areas. Portfolio Engagement Managers must establish effective working relationships to influence and collaborate across Digital & Technology leaders, including D&T Pillar Leads, Directors, Solution Managers, and Project Managers to sustain overall portfolio equilibrium. Portfolio Engagement Managers will also significantly influence and lead changes to the Digital & Technology Operating Model.
Your Impact
  • Assess project risks and facilitate project critical issues
  • Supervise and report on portfolio value and costs
  • Partner with Digital & Technology leadership to ensure allocation of shared resources is aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Anticipate demand and escalate situations where resource gaps exist for key initiatives
  • Implement the use of best practices to elevate our project portfolio execution
  • Understand portfolio synergies or collisions and make recommendations to support impacts/outcomes
  • Assist leadership in workforce planning to ensure that IT abilities and org design are aligned to support Digital & Technology priorities
  • Collaborate with Digital & Technology Finance & HR partners for portfolio financial, staffing, and governance intersections
  • Lead the active planning, annual planning, and quarterly prioritization processes
  • Continue process improvement and communication to bring clarity across the organization
  • Contribute to advancing the Operating Model to the next level
Your Qualifications
  • High organizational awareness, corporate IQ, and an ability to factor in and balance strategic priorities against tactical program execution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant project management, consulting, or process re-engineering experience
  • Outstanding communication skills in working with senior technology managers, and engineers and comfortable presenting to senior and executive leadership
  • Strong networking ability and organizational knowledge
  • Ability to leverage both a broad, and deep mindset
