Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other technical writers on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of various technical documents.
  • Develop and manage the documentation infrastructure and processes.
  • Solicit feedback from internal and external customers to continually improve the quality and user experience of the documents.
  • Work with engineering and applications teams to review technical specifications, develop new documents and update existing documents.
  • Develop Technical documents like Installation, Maintenance and Programmer’s manuals for various Teradyne Memory Testing products.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively to meet customer commitments.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working on technical documentation for ATE, semiconductor or related industry.
  • Good communication skills and interest in working with other groups like product engineering, marketing, and applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with authoring tools and frameworks like Adobe FrameMaker, Doxygen, Oxygen, XML and DITA
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex technical specification documents including some C/C++ code.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Information Systems, Design or equivalent field
  • Experience working on documents related to product quality certifications like TUV and ISO
