An innovative supply company, located North of Boston, is searching for a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team! Reporting directly to the Senior Tax Director, this person ideally has 3+ years in a global corporate environment or public accounting firm. If you’re interested, please keep reading!


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with PWC on Federal and state tax returns, as well as estimates and extensions
  • Coordinate with PWC for quarterly and annual WW Tax provisions
  • Refresh BNA SmartCharts monthly, i.e. tax law change, tax rates
  • Adhere to controls established under Sarbanes
  • File annual property tax, annual reports and local non-income tax filings
  • Effective Tax Rate Modeling – maintain model and discuss monthly with Sr Tax Director
  • Reconcile Tax Accounts
  • Maintain the UTP and FIN48 Roll forwards
  • Prepare Monthly Sales Tax returns and Tax Exemption Certificates for new vendors
  • Maintain the worldwide tax calendar, with internal deadlines for company and PWC


Qualifications:


  • Minimum Experience: 3+ years in a global corporate environment or public accounting firm with SEC experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MST preferred
  • Strong Excel skills required. Experience with OneSource a plus
  • Must be willing to commute into the office for a week, once a quarter
  • Experience with tax-based research tools;
  • Effectively handle and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 740 accounting for income taxes including stock-based compensation, valuation analysis and uncertain tax positions
