About The Job

We have an amazing opportunity in our Broomfield, CO office or Plant Environment for a dynamic CAPEX Senior Sourcing Manager. The person selected for this role, will be stepping into a role and team that is going though a transformation and should expect the challenges that come with that environment.

• Project management – involved and contributes to each phase of the Capital Expenditure projects; the individual will work with the project management, engineering, and global teams to guarantee successful starts & completions of projects with respect to overall value including budget, quality, and timing.
• Establish self and team as Subject Matter Experts regarding the equipment and their respective suppliers but also the commodities and labor markets impacting your areas. Others should look to you and your team for “should cost” information.
• Sourcing of new technologies delivering topline growth to the company.
• Financial Reporting - analysis, control, and animation of the category results.
• Make or Buy analysis – Preparation of study to evaluate better solution for the business.
• Contracts negotiations and RFQ launch analysis and recommendations development.
• Be a “Flagbearer” for the CAPEX strategic sourcing team. Adapt and implement the established sourcing strategies. Utilize communication tools (Dashboards, weekly updates) to reinforce the CAPEX Sourcing teams’ vision, strategy, and tools.
• Project financial management – preparation of capital requests and analysis of supplier quoted cost as well as solution’s total cost of ownership to present most cost-effective solution
• Networking with peers; acts as a catalyst in bringing forward best practices in a cross functional matrixed environment.
• Supplier Relationship Management – set mutual KPI targets as well as manage & evaluate supplier performance. Including structured standard governance meetings. Others should look to you and your team as the supplier relationship owners.

The base compensation range for this position is $109,000-164,000 commensurate with experience. About You

• Project management skills and behavior.
• 2+ years people management skills. (Direct reports)
• Proactive, anticipates issues/opportunities & can work through multiple projects.
• Resilience, determination, and flexibility.
• 3 – 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management or supply chain
• Demonstrated collaborative & network animation capabilities
• BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations management, or a related field such as engineering.
• Strategic and rigorous data analysis capability.
• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Understanding of contractual terms and conditions
• Language English with French considered as a strong asset.
• Comfortable in facing paradoxes or contradictions with resilience and tenacity.
