Senior Solderer Jobs

What you’ll do:

The Solderer (White Room) is responsible for soldering and reworking very small and intricate products going into aviation and space applications. The ideal candidate will have exceptional hand dexterity along with a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical procedures and blueprints. The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• Minimum 1 year of soldering experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year soldering experience using a microscope

Skills:

• Ability to successfully solder to the acceptability requirements of J-STD-001
• Ability to follow written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
• Ability to work using a microscope for long periods of time
• High level of dexterity
