Senior Software Engineer, React Native

What you’ll be doing

• Following React, front-end, and mobile development best practices, developing frameworks that scale
• Engage with stakeholders to help with team’s strategic roadmap
• Architect and implement new functionality and user experiences of Akia mobile app
• Working with dedicated UI/UX designers have an excellent appreciation for UI/UX concepts
• Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for large codebase and products/features

What you should have

• Experience in designing, building, and testing modern web or cross-platform mobile solutions as part of an agile or cross functional team
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, best practices, and development patterns
• 5+ years of professional programming experience in web development
• Self-starter who thrives on working in a fast pace, team environment
• Strong knowledge of front-end languages (JavaScript, TypeScript) and native development experience
• Experience with client-side application state libraries
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
