POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To gain market share in the Peripheral Embolization business by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic's interventional radiology products within assigned territory.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works directly with the Regional Manager to strategically identify targets and opportunities.
  • Be a resource within the assigned territory and region to ensure that opportunities for case coverage are met.
  • Answer questions and provide technical expertise on the safe and effective use of products for the customer.
  • Time and territory management goals are met
  • Understands the full use of the products in the appropriate types of cases and is able to encourage additional use of Medtronic products within a case where clinically appropriate.
  • Grow business substantially in territory
  • Conducts all business with customers in a manner that adheres to healthcare compliance guidelines & FDA Guidelines.
  • Provide educated and knowledgeable case support to assigned accounts through direction from the District Manager to which they are assigned.
  • Be a product expert within the territory and for the customer during case support activities.
  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding the assigned quota
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
  • Bachelor’s Degree
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science
  • Strong clinical knowledge and aptitude
  • Quickly builds rapport with clinical aptitude
  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in a live, case setting
  • Experience in a highly Customer focused, competitive selling environment, medical sales are preferred
  • Technical aptitude and interest in medical device sales career path
  • Detail oriented with the ability to provide inventory administration

Work and Travel Requirements
  • Ability to transport product/equipment from car to hospital
  • Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease and radiation
  • Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings
  • Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day
  • Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10% of time)
  • This position requires on-call time
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
  • Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory
  • Continuous verbal and written communication

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
