Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Manager to join our Strategic Deterrent Systems in Heath, OH with a report team in Ogden, UT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages quality professionals and aligned functional teams within an inclusive and collaborative environment supporting professional growth / development.
  • Develop and execute strategies, plans, policies, procedures and strategies to maintain and improve performance.
  • Manages resources, provides quality system management and lead quality performance improvements through disciplined processes aligned with industry standards and contractual requirements.
  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.
  • Provides education, coaching and ensures effective execution of the Quality Management System.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, functional stakeholders / peers, and direct reports

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and/or coaching operators, peers and leadership on various aspects of a quality system (associated with engineering or quality)
  • 5+ years of experience with non-conformance Management (NCM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Security Clearance preferred
  • Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience leading or building a team

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
