The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Senior Psychologist, Well-Being & Integrative Medicine department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R013570]
ROLE of the POSITION
The Psychologist position exists to serve medical students to strengthen and enhance their psychological health and personal well-being. The Psychologist will collaborate with the student body to develop and implement initiatives to teach tools to students so that they are better able to enhance their well-being while adjusting to the demands of training for a medical degree and caring for themselves and their patients. This will be achieved through a variety of psychological services such as individual therapy, group therapy, psychological testing and assessment, crisis intervention, educational programming, and consultation with the medical school community, university community and local community. The Psychologist will be hired by and reporting to the School of Medicine and will be supported by CAPS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a PhD from a regionally accredited college or university and 3- 5 years of experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
