Job Description

Senior Program Manager

Sweet Tree Holdings is hiring a Senior Program Manager (Contract) to join our team. You'll support agile delivery of operationally focused programs across the business, collaborating with stakeholders and operations teams to establish program timelines, milestones, and execution plans. You'll work with Production, Maintenance, Woods, and IT teams to manage delivery of functional requirements for solutions, execute Factory Acceptance Testing, and build business cases and results measurement programs. Additionally, you'll prepare briefings for senior leadership on program status.

POSITION IS REMOTE WITH 20% TRAVEL EXPECTATION

Responsibilities:

  • Own project documentation development and delivery, including scope, functional requirements, milestones / deliverables, definition of done / acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders/subject matter experts to establish program delivery timelines, milestones, and plans.
  • Project topics include ERP upgrade / implementation, Workforce management solutions, Maintenance Systems Implementation, and production equipment installation.
  • Lead Program Governance across the organization, working with Production, Finance, Sales, Maintenance, HR, and Woods teams to execute productivity and capital projects
  • Ensure adequate completion of Factor Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test, documenting outstanding issues for resolution, SOPs, and project close.
  • Provide project reporting and status updates (scorecards, status reports, monthly reviews), leading stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • As necessary manage vendor resources and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify/assess/mitigate project risks utilizing FMEA or equivalent tools, escalating to functional leads and executive leadership as needed.
  • Use Agile and Waterfall methods/tools to ensure on-time, on-budget program delivery utilizing risk mitigation and change management strategies
  • When asked assist in developing business cases/proposals for Exec Leadership, including payback, benefits, and business impacts.


Requirements:

  • PREFERRED:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • REQUIRED:

Minimum four years’ experience in Project Management in food processing/manufacturing setting.
