The Job
Onera is currently hiring a Senior Product Manager based in the US, who will be the global voice on future product development solutions, developing product requirements, conducting market research to establish positioning, pricing, key messaging for new products, and manage the transition from manufacturing to launch. This role is also responsible in making critical decisions related to ongoing product lifecycle management for diverse portfolio of products. Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive landscape, market trends, and market drivers to inform product roadmap and go-to-market approach by customer segment.
- Ensure clear articulation of market needs and problems statements, represent the voice of the customer, and build a go-to-market strategy for launch.
- Manage key initiatives to support ongoing customer needs, maintain and improve quality and driving cost reductions.
- Responsible for financial planning and financial performance of products and services managed.
- Communicating effectively with all levels of employees to build consensus. Providing constructive feedback on team members' work. Preparing all presentations related to product for external and internal usage and executive management. Having the ability to determine and effectively communicate market requirements and priorities with product development team (and make trade-offs).
- Responsible for demand planning and forecasting for our product and accessories.
- Lead development and execution of go-to-market strategies.
- Lead and influence cross functional teams to build broad support and drive successful results for important and complex initiatives.
- Understanding team dynamics and provides appropriate direction and facilitation for team activities and complex issues. Building cooperative ongoing relationships.
- Create a vision and product roadmap with innovative product offerings and services to deliver the best suite of offers for our market.
- Managing the lifecycle of launched products including enhancements and quality improvements through to obsolescence. Having the ability to work with relevant teams to prioritize lifecycle related projects based on a detailed understanding of the market.
- Define a product scope with appropriate features and time to market to drive business objectives and competitive advantage.
Requirements
Your Profile - What You'll Bring
- 3-5 years' experience in Product Management.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
- Preferred: MBA.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Medical device and/or healthcare software experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years' strategic marketing, and/or business development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related discipline. A degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
- Sleep diagnostics experience a plus.
- Proven capability to operate both as an individual contributor as well as a Manger.
- Experience with B2B and B2C marketing would be a plus.
