Senior Process Development Engineer

A well-established medical device client of ours is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer. This role will work on process validations and test method development. This is a contract to direct opportunity and a great way to get into a highly sought after medical device company in Maple Grove, MN.

Job Title: Senior Process Development Engineer

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Pay: 40-55hr, depends on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Writes and reviews validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
• Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
• Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects.
• Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM’s, Routers, FMEA’s, etc.)

Requirements

• BS in Engineering and 4+ years of experience
• Understanding of DFM, medical device design control / quality systems and the product development process (PLCP).
• Demonstrated use of DFSS tools (DOE, problem solving)
• 4+ years of demonstrated process development / improvement activities
• Medical Device Design experience; new product development
