Responsibilities
Process mortgage files efficiently, including completing and submitting initial and closing disclosures, analyzing credit reports, income, and asset documents, and ordering necessary items for timely file closure.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth loan processing and meet all milestones and deadlines.
Utilize your expertise in mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation to provide exceptional service.
Organize files and documentation in our efficient systems, such as ShareFile and LOS, to ensure easy access and compliance.
Qualifications
Active NMLS license in the states of CA, CO, HI, FL, OR, and TX.
Minimum five years of experience as a broker processor, working with lenders such as UWM, Freedom, Caliber/NewRez.
Proficiency in Google Suite and a solid understanding of fair housing regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to calculate income for self-employed and real estate investors.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous approach to all interactions.
Prior experience as an LOA, Loan Partner, Loan Officer, or Underwriter is a plus.
