Job Description

A multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund is seeking to hire a Market Data Analyst to monitor, analyze and assist a Market Data and Quant teams.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze cross asset market data
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistences.
  • Monitor raw and derived data using in-house analytical tools
  • Work very closely with business users to understand and deliver on their market data requirements
  • The successful candidate will work in a small team of senior developers and will have close interaction with development peers, quantitative analysts and business users.

Technical Skills

  • Experience working with Market Data vendors such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Exchanges (NYSE, ICE, etc.).
  • Strong technical knowledge of systems supporting large, complex data sets in a performant, scalable manner
  • Heavy SQL experience.
