How you’ll make an impact:

SiriusXM is rapidly expanding its services to drive further engagement of consumers via smartphones, tablets, PCs, and connected devices, while continuing to maintain and grow its adoption in connected cars. This position is a senior leader responsible for building frameworks and tooling that support the SiriusXM, Pandora, & Stitcher applications across this ecosystem, while working with Product, Marketing and Business teams to harmonize our efforts toward shared company goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and measure test automation frameworks and tooling effectiveness and efficiency, and regularly adjust methods and practices to achieve the highest level of continuous testing capabilities
  • Work directly with executives to align with department and organization goals and develop new ideas for process improvement
  • Thorough knowledge of department procedures and company policies
  • Work with team managers to assist in day to day and provide guidance in all departmental activities including scheduling, project health and mitigating project risk
  • Work closely with business owners to estimate resourcing needs, budgetary needs and give time estimates
  • Plan and manage resource estimation, effort distribution, and performance reviews
  • Make buy vs. build decisions relative to QA automation tools and frameworks
  • Analyze departmental requirements, create documentation, and technical specifications to develop manual and automation framework and tooling strategies.
  • Lead delivery of automated testing framework initiatives across multiple domains and applications
  • Provide hands-on, proactive leadership to the QA Automation Engineers, demonstrate, and promote automation best practices

What you’ll need:

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to execute and deliver to a high standard
  • 6+ years of experience in team management
  • Understanding of well architected frameworks: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency and cost optimization
  • Expert knowledge of technological components utilized by the organization
  • Has the ability to lead a team of at least 15-20 people.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Passionate about leading, inspiring, and motivating others to meet their goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across many departments and levels and influence others
  • At least 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
  • Proven success in managing overlapping projects, while remaining flexible to shifting priorities
  • Project management experience, track record of delivering high quality products while meeting scheduling commitments.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $120,000 to $180,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
