Job Description
Summary: Senior Maintenance Integration Systems Analyst. (Full-Time position NOT Contract). Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA . Salary will depend on experience. The company offers competitive salaries and a complete benefits package. The position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, and is not eligible for telecommuting. Essential Responsibilities: Coordinate with Resource Integration Team (RIT) and site leadership to determine appropriate task priorities and resource allocation to meet organizational goals. Resolve supportability concerns with research and analysis of potential mitigations. Identify issues impacting the organization’s priorities and objectives and partner with management to address improvements. Assist with the development and continuous improvement of RIT organizational processes, procedures, and best practices. Develop/implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Coordinate and prioritize conflicting maintenance and integration tasks at technical work centers. Coordinate maintenance with RGNext Scheduling Office and site leadership to ensure effective manpower and equipment utilization, timely support of priority assignments, and conflict resolution for systems maintenance and operational readiness. Investigate/resolve support issues beyond site capabilities that delay or impair a site’s ability to conduct normal day-to-day support activities. Analysis of maintenance trends and impacts on operational commitments. Develop and implement new processes and metrics using Microsoft Office programs. Provide timely escalation and support process improvements. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business management discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) years of applicable experience in a technical discipline or applicable range maintenance and/or operations. Experience developing and implementing work processes and efficiencies, reports, and presentations. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional. Experience navigating web tools, computer software databases, word processing programs, file systems, and spreadsheets. Basic understanding of Range launch requirements, maintenance planning, and engineering activities and their interrelationship preferred. Ability to communicate technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences preferred. Ability to effectively utilize asset management, maintenance management, or inventory management systems in a business environment preferred. A basic understanding of Western Range subsystems and maintenance concepts is preferred. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Occasional travel to instrumentation sites on Vandenberg AFB and Pillar Point AFS. Able to work with moderate office noise (business office with computers, printers, phones, light traffic). The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization. Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
