Position: Senior IT Auditor
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite 4 days / Remote 1 day)
Duration: Direct Hire Full Time
Salary: 100k to 125k + 5k Bonus + Excellent Benefits Program
What You Will Do:
- You will prepare for and attend or lead process walkthrough meetings, document process narratives, and test high-risk or complex controls for adherence to bank policies & procedures, and compliance with federal & state banking regulations. You will follow a similar process for testing and validating high-risk or complex implemented management action plans designed to close audit issues.
- As a IT Senior Auditor, you will assist in the planning for and assessing of design and operating effectiveness of controls for various audits in your assigned coverage areas, supporting the execution of the department's annual audit plan.
- You will report to an IT Associate Audit Director and will have the opportunity to work with our audit leaders across the department, participating in integrated audits in finance, banking operations, credit administration, risk management, and compliance disciplines.
What Gets You The Job:
- Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of internal control analysis and risk assessment methodologies, COSO framework, Institute of Internal Auditor standards, FRB Supervisory Letter 13-1 standards, FFIEC IT Handbooks / Guidelines, and/or Sarbanes-Oxley Section 302/402 requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Strong communication skills, especially speaking and listening skills (ex: customer service roles)
- 2+ years of direct, related experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, or a similar field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Certified Information Systems Auditor is preferred.
- Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
- Entry-level to intermediate time management and organizational skills
