Summary

The TES Senior Frontend Engineer is a key member of the technical team responsible for designing, building, and implementing highly scalable, resilient, and public-facing commercial front-end applications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with the Dev Lead on software design, patterns, and other technical details.
• Work according to deadlines for the delivery of product roadmap.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Build and maintain cloud-based, front-end web applications built on Microsoft Azure and React.
• Work with Design Lead on implementation of UI and behaviors for output with a high fidelity to design intent.
• Break down and estimate development activities and work tasks.
• Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate product quality.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Work with customer success to address issues found in the field.
• Write and test modern JS and TypeScript with tools like Jest and Storybook.
• Deliver high quality software that delights customers.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Experience and championing of front-end markup implementation according to WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Strong teamwork ethic, passion for learning, and desire to seek new challenges.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to find product flaws before software release.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, React, and RESTful endpoints.
• Experience with writing semantic HTML markup that meets best practices for accessibility.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
• Experience with design tools (ideally, Figma) for design to dev handoff, inspection, and understanding of design specs and behaviors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• 7+ years' experience building and delivering quality customer-facing software.
• BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is 140,000.00 -170,000.00 USD Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
