Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (Senior Accountant)

LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Parker + Lynch) is partnering with a large, fiscally successful organization in the Columbus, MS Area in their search for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (Senior Accountant) position! Responsibilities:

• Executing ad hoc projects designed to enhance process improvements.
• Participating in quarterly cycle counts and the year-end physical inventory process.
• Performing periodic financial closings.
• Assisting with internal control reviews as well as documenting compliance to SOX.
• Preparing budgets/forecasts for plant activities.

Qualifications:

• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, SumIf's, etc.).
• At least 3-years of general accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills, confidence, prioritization abilities, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, etc. Industries (Highly Preferred).
• Master’s degree OR CPA (or in-process of obtaining Master’s degree or CPA) {Highly Preferred}.
• SAP experience (Preferred); other ERP experience will be considered in lieu of SAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Compensation & Benefits:

The anticipated Base Salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $95,000 DOE with Bonus potential of 3.5%.
