Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our Global Operations and Technology (GOT) Portfolio Management Office! The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial modeling, investment portfolio management and analysis, strong presentation skills, a strategic mentality, ability to build deep cross-functional relationships and ability to work through complexity across the portfolio in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Successful SFAs are critical thinkers, problem solvers and effective communicators with strong ability to handle contending priorities in a multifaceted, dynamic environment!
What You Will Work On
You will help manage NIKE’s global operating investment portfolio. In this role, you will:
  • Manage the end-to-end investment process, including pipeline creation and analysis, investment review and approval, and portfolio tracking and reporting
  • Support NIKE’s global capex forecasting and management process
  • Partner closely with Global Operating Teams, Global Business Planning and Capital Planning for the long-term financial impacts of our global investment
  • Streamline processes and tools, seeking to improve efficiencies without sacrificing quality
  • Provide thought leadership in evolving NIKE’s investment portfolio management and reporting process in a constantly evolving environment
  • Support the broader GOT team in ad hoc projects in support of various Nike priorities
  • Work cross-functionally with NIKE’s global teams to ensure appropriate financial and operational rigor over significant operational investments
Who You Will Work With
This role is a member of the GOT Central finance team and you will report to the Director of Global Finance Enterprise Portfolio Management. You will collaborate with a broad set of collaborators and partner cross-functionally with various Geography and Global Functional teams, Digital Transformation Office, Global Business Planning, Capital Planning, Procurement, Controlling, Treasury and Legal. In addition, there is also a high level of exposure to Senior Leadership.
What You Bring
  • Strategic attitude to design and deliver end-to-end portfolio management process in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Advanced level PowerPoint presentation and Excel financial modeling capabilities
  • Results-oriented, high energy self-starter with ability to manage through ambiguity in a dynamic environment to drive operational results
  • Strong collaboration, ability to build strong relationships and lead cross functional deliverables & processes
  • Attention to detail in the development and delivery of reporting and analytics for Senior Leadership
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, or FP&A at a Fortune 500 company
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
