JOB SUMMARY


The Senior Director will oversee the development of an exciting new application for property associates leveraging a wide variety of technologies. The Single Pane of Glass will deliver a modern, intuitive interface presenting aggregated data from across multiple enterprise systems to support the most frequently executed tasks by front desk associates.

Single Pane of Glass will include development of an associate-facing design system, data aggregation, and core services, domain services, as well as Salesforce, PMS, and CRS integrations. The exceptional candidate will have experience leading complex desktop and mobile application development in a fast-paced environment and will have experience with ReactJS/NextJS, GraphQL, ResAPI, Document DB, and integrating with Salesforce Service Cloud


Required:

  • Proven experience with ReactJS/NextJS, GraphQL, ResAPI, Document DB or comparable technologies
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Dynatrace
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale initiatives/transformations in excess of $5M
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related OR equivalent years of experience and/or certification
  • In-depth knowledge of application development standards including performance, security, and privacy protocols
  • 5+ years of application development leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in SAFe Agile development methodologies, specifically with large-scale initiatives and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience with and knowledge of Technology outsourcing activities in a managed services environment

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of hospitality business environment, service requirements and culture
  • Experience in business systems and process planning
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide and influence appropriate courses of action
  • Ability to understand and communicate the lifecycle of technologies and applications and to translate into business strategies for the client organizations.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Managing Application Development Standards, Processes, and Tools

  • Monitors projects for adherence to defined application development processes
  • Communicates to Shared Platform and Technology Product leaders’ opportunities to create broader Technology related and corporate standards and policies where necessary

  • Facilitates compliance with the standard set of application development tools and processes that will drive consistency and predictability including:

The salary range for this position is $123,975.00 to $275,021.00 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $123,975.00 to $250,016.00 annually.

New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $150,011.00 to $275,021.00 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $123,975.00 to $275,021.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
