The Senior Director, Customer Education & Training leadership role is critical at Therapy Brands. The leader of this area will drive learning both internally for customer care and product knowledge and externally through building out programs to better onboard customers and support on going technology adoption. This individual will also transform the current customer training program to evolve into a dynamic model addressing various personas, customer types, and learning needs of our customers to ensure that customer training becomes a key differentiator for TherapyBrands customer experience. The right candidate will have experience in a scaled SaaS based organization and have led previous department transformations.
Primary Responsibilities Of This Position
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and deadlines
  • Develop and design training needs analyses to ensure appropriate training continuum of learning programs along with related materials on firm and functional specific levels
  • Act as a change agent providing the support and mechanism to implement major changes to the operations of the business
  • Implement and oversee programs to identify organization capability gaps and develop strategic approach towards addressing those gap
  • Evolve the capabilities and organization structure of the Education team to meet the needs of our scaling business and the needs of our customers
  • Oversee the development and organization manuals, workbooks, testing, evaluation, and other educational material
  • Stay up to date with industry updates, training standards, adult learning styles and preferences, as well as blended/social learning techniques
  • Ensure the proper coordination and roll out of various training sessions for both new employee onboarding and customer education
  • Evaluate software and hardware tools and provide recommendations as needed and assist in the selection and installment of tools. Utilize these tools to evolve the content for learning through different mediums and learning styles
  • Oversight of the creation of design documents that specify learning objectives, measure student learning, learning materials, design specifications and learning impact
  • Maintain strategic alliances with industry and training organizations
  • Oversee a team of professional aimed at developing content, job aids, training curriculum for internal and external customers, and facilitation of these materials.
  • Consult with leaders, department managers, and employees to develop programs to meet emerging business needs
  • Design programs with the purpose of driving product adoption to our large and diverse base of customers

Qualifications
  • Comfortable presenting and facilitating content within all levels of an organization
  • Strategic thinker and progressive leader operating with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 5 to 10 years of related experience in training and education at a leadership level at a SaaS based organization
  • Experience implementing a learning management system
  • Four-year college degree or relevant business experience required
  • Expertise in adult learning theory and ability to apply
  • Bachelor's degree within area of business management, organizational development, communication, or adult education preferred
  • Strong eye for business
  • Well organized and detail oriented
