Title: Sr.DevSecOps Engineer

Location:Timonium, MD

Duration: Long-term contract

Exp.: 10+ years

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the software development infrastructure and operations. The DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for integrating security into all aspects of the software development infrastructure, operations and deployment processes. The engineer will work closely with developers, quality assurance, operations, and Infosec teams to automate and streamline the development and release process. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing tools and processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (such as Terraform, Argo or Ansible)
• Experience with containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience with security tools and technologies (such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewalls)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns
• Experience with security tools and processes (such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and access management)
• Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements (such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR)
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with infrastructure as code (such as Terraform or Config Connector and use of YAML)
• Experience with database management and administration (such as MySQL or Couchbase)
• Experience with RedHat Openshift
• Experience with performance optimization and scaling of applications and infrastructure
