Senior Design Technician/Cadd

Hi, this is Jonathan Farmer, P.E., Aviation Practice Leader at KSA. I am seeking a self-motivated, civil engineering Design Technician for our Shreveport, Louisiana office. KSA is seeking a candidate with C3D experience and working knowledge of transportation and airport design. If you have 8+ years of experience designing projects under the supervision of a P.E. and value one-on-one mentoring as well as team collaboration, this position is right for you. KSA has a variety of exciting ongoing projects, and we are seeking candidates with advanced proficiency in streets/roads, drainage, and airfield/aviation design as well as having surface manipulation and grading experience.
KSA is invested in our Design Team by providing training tools, mentoring, and challenging projects. There are some distinct qualities that we are looking for in a Design Technician. A willingness to take direction as well as being detail oriented, reliable, and the ability to communicate effectively is essential. Beyond these fundamentals, it is preferred for you to have good numeracy and computer skills as well as a sound knowledge of engineering principles. KSA’s design projects must be constructible at the end of the day, so being able to see the bigger picture will benefit you as a candidate for this position.
