Job Description
Are you a content creator with a knack for SEO? Do you have a proven track record of growing organic traffic? Are you deeply analytical and process-driven by nature? If that sounds like you, keep reading.

We’re a full-service growth marketing agency providing strategy and execution for some of the world's most exciting startups and established brands. We specialize in tactics like Paid Media, SEO, Content, CRO, Data, and Performance Creative. Our bread and butter is building efficient, holistic marketing strategies and we do this with our team, process, and style.

We’re looking for a Senior Content and SEO Strategist to join our Organic Acquisition team to lead the strategic planning and execution of content marketing projects for clients. In this role, you’re responsible for leading and managing a small content team, accountable to specific organic reporting, and will work directly with account teams and clients.

As a Senior Content and SEO Strategist at Tuff, you will be responsible for overseeing the content pipeline and increased organic visibility for 4-6 clients. You will be responsible for significantly growing our client’s organic traffic by producing and optimizing long-form content (with freelancers) that helps our clients.

You have a deep understanding of the pillar-cluster content model, experience ranking at the top of SERPs for high-value keywords, and proven frameworks for growing organic traffic.

Requirements

About you:

  • You believe the fact that some content channels and projects are hard to measure is not an excuse. You take a rigorous approach to creating hypotheses and content KPIs, and get creative to prove the ROI of your work.
  • You’re a student of content marketing. You’re part of online communities, subscribe to newsletters, and brainstorm with your peers. You know what’s working, but also have your own opinions and experience to guide you—following best practices can lead to sameness.
  • You’re about execution and can get content projects delivered on time for a number of clients at once.
  • You’re a staunch believer that in content, quality > quantity.
  • You want to be part of a small, but mighty, professional marketing team that is obsessive about results and impact, not drama or politics.
  • You have high standards, from eloquent prose and grammar in content to design that serves your audience.
  • You can draw a line from product marketing to content marketing to website strategy to real business results, with support to fill any gaps you come in with
  • You’re obsessed with the idea that finding and mastering the right channels is critical to content success.
