Reports to: Director of Clinical Operations

Residency Requirement: United States

The Opportunity

The Senior Consulting Clinician provides clinical consultation services to the Staff Care and Resilience practice, with a particular focus on the management and support of KonTerra’s global network of roster members. Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Operations, you’ll work to ensure that KonTerra roster members are providing high-quality service in accordance with good clinical practice and ethical standards.

This is a remote, part-time role that operates during variable hours based on the needs of our roster members and will perform these, and other essential duties as required:

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and suggest training and professional development opportunities for roster members.
  • Provide clinical case consultation in accordance with KonTerra’s operational guidelines/processes/policies inclusive of reviewing high-risk cases as the lead on our high-risk case committee.
  • Lead regularly occurring supervision/consultation groups and serve as the primary point of contact for pre, post, and on-assignment support.
  • Facilitate informational and training sessions for roster members in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations. (Estimated 6-12 annually).

The Skills and Experience You’ll Need

  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience providing consultation to mental health providers.
  • Proficiency in consulting with mental health professionals working in resource-constrained environments outside of the US.
  • A master’s or doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or other allied field and an active license in at least one US state.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a mental health provider.
