The Role

In this exciting role as a Senior Consultant, Retirement, you will have the opportunity to support diverse projects related to mergers & acquisitions, asset liability studies, forecasting, early retirement windows, financial resilience and other special projects as needed. You will also:

  • Provide value-added consulting expertise on retirement plan valuation, management and design, financial risk management and funding projects, and special projects involving global consulting, strategic workforce planning and total rewards strategies
  • Ensure clients are regularly informed about the implications and opportunities that changing laws and regulations have related to their retirement plans
  • Develop junior colleagues and create an inclusive team environment
  • Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships
  • Lead large complex client engagements, ensuring projects are appropriately planned, budgeted and monitored, manage the client financials and ensuring work is properly delegated
  • Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues

The Requirements

  • Intellectual curiosity and the desire to expand one’s business acumen in the retirement and human capital consulting field
  • Demonstrated success or strong evidence to support the ability to contribute to new business generation
  • Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Enjoys training/mentoring junior staff
  • Experience and expertise delivering retirement consulting services to Fortune 1,000 or organizations of similar size
  • An undergraduate degree is required; actuarial credentials are a plus

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $120,000 – $200,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
