Job Description

We are a growing, commercial construction company looking to bring on an experienced estimator to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have previous commercial experience, specifically working in the education space or aviation space.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of estimating experience
  • Previous K-12, education or aviation experience
  • Ability to read and thoroughly understand all bid documents
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work assignments according to capability to ensure preparation of bids in a timely manner
  • Compute's cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness
  • Review's data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized material labor and equipment take off lists
